An hour on the beach

This was the small beach next to the Jetty to Pulau Keracut (near QBY mall). It was kinda hot in the morning and not much shade to hide from the sun. Well, we came here for the convenient choice as it near to where we are going for lunch later....

Nevertheless, Jojo still have a great time on the beach. Playing ball with daddy, sand digging, chasing bubbles around etc...so much fun !

Too bad it was so hot and we all had to hide under the tree after awhile...so all and all, we got to spend almost an hour there!

Bye to pacifier.....

Today is the 5th day Jojo saying goodbye to his 'chu chu' (pacifier)....hoooooraayyy!!!

How this happens?
Last monday night, we waited for Jojo to ask for his chu chu....and we already got one old pacifier ready to be "sacrified" upon his request :P
What we did was to 'dip' his pacifier into a sambal bowl, and then handed it over to him. So when he saw the dirty pacifier, he just said YUCKKKK!! and turn away, even calling out "mai mai' in hokien which mean NO! LOL! pretty cute :)
However, my initial thought was this would not last long, as he will ask for his chu chu again the next day and probably smart enough to ask for another new one.
But to our surprise, even now giving him the clean pacifier, Jojo also says yuck....

Hope this continues and he wouldn't ask for it again! :D

Birthday celebration at Church

We brought you to Ah Ma & Ah Kong Church one of the Sunday, and its happened that the Sunday school was setting up a small Birthday celebration for August babies....lucky you! get to celebrate twice in a year :D

Happy Birthday to 2

Today is your special day as u r turning 2! Mommy dressed you up nicely and we r ready to take a nice photo. Just a birthday and family celebration this time. Nevertheless, we are very happy and enjoyed the occassion as much as we can :)

Why no party? Actually mommy did plan a small b'day party for you, darling. Unfortunately daddy met with an accident - sport injury while he played football a week ago. It was quite serious with nose & eye socket fracture. An operation was required. So mommy and daddy were in & out hospital for the past one week. Luckily everything went pretty well, and daddy was home a day before your big day.

Jojo woke up this morning, bright and happy. And surprised mommy with his newly 'acquired' skill....wonder what is that?

Second trip to butterfly farm

Now that Jojo is reaching 2 years old soon, and was able to recognise many things, animals etc ...so we think it's could be a good timing to bring him to Butterfly Farm again since his last visit when he was 6 months old :)

After all, it's definitely better than keep on going to shopping malls during weekend :P

And we did a good decision. Jojo seems enjoying the trip pretty much, and was able to point out to us butterfly, fish, bananas, water etc...

It's really exciting to show him around this time. And he got to run around a bit too...good exercise for him, hehe..
