Crusing?

Not sure where Jojo learn to cruise like this.

First he will pull himself up holding on to the edge of his bed, and then slowly place his hand to the our bed before he moves over. (or the other way round)

Isn't that clever ? :)

Climbing

Jojo was climbing up the table which I placed infront of him

My intention was to let him hold and stand on the chair

To my surprise, instead he was climbing on to it so fast..

My mum was watching on him while I tried to catch his act on camera

After the photo session, immediately we removed him from the table

It was just too dangerous...

(I guess soon it will be the stairs..time to buy stair gate)

Whenever Jojo saw us building up the blocks, he will come straight to 'destroy' the structure and it became the most effective 'tool' currently for us to attract Jojo crawling back when he tried to crawl away....

Down with Fever

Jojo was down with Virus fever for the 1st time, so I thought I would document the incident in blog as well.

(I din consider the last mild fever as official which was caused by injection)

It happens around 8pm when I was home on Wednesday. His body was so hot when I carried him, so quickly i checked his temperature. I was in shocked when the reading was 38.8C

Gosh! luckily I have the fever medication ready. We were trying to bring down his heat by placing a cool towel on his forehead. Not very practical, so later I went out to buy the cool gel sticker but oso kept on falling too..

Anyway, the fever went up again at midnite 3am, and an hour later he thrown out out all the water I fed him. At that point of time, I was so panic and wanted to send him immediately to hospital oledi. However by the time I changed his clothes and mine as well (which were all wet due to his throwing) and we saw that his fever subsided. Hence, I decided to bring him to the doctor in the early morning, so that he can rest better at home and continue monitoring his temperature.

Luckily the next morning, Jojo woke up with a smile. And doctor comforted me that Jojo was just having virus fever, and this is gonna be very common and to be expected a few times until he grows up till 2 or 3. At least no concerns on denque.

SAHM or FTWM??

Angie tagged me on whether I wanna be a SAHM or FTWM.

It's really very much depends on how u define SAHM. If being a SAHM with a helper to do all the house chores, and I got to spent all the quality time with my baby for fun time like playing, singing, reading stories etc....YUP! I would definitely dive it for it.

But as for now, my vote goes to FTWM. Reasons being:

1. First, I am a bad cook, with no talent and no interest. I just love to eat good food, so I would leave this important job to someone whom fit the shoe :)
2. Income is a very important source for me to be self-sufficient and allow me spending flexibility either to my baby or what ever I wish to do. So pretty hard to give that up at this moment :) unless there is an alternative solution, such as a full-loaded supplementary credit card from someone??? (day-dreaming...)
3. Being a FTWM, I would be able to meet up with other mommies, exchange parenting tips & sharing experiences which I believed it's a good source for me to learn to be a better mother to my baby
4. I can be a up-to-date modern mum , rather than a "wong ming poh" at home only which is a definite no-no-no

Basket moment

The other day I put Jojo into a basket

My intention was trying to snap some photos of him in it

but he wouldn't sit still & moves so much

and the basket shaked as well

so I had to stop my 'project'

good thing he was having some fun too!
