Walking unaided

Monday 22-Oct-2007. I need to remember this day.

Reason : When I was home from work today, it was to my surprise to see Jojo was able to walk unaided all the way starting from the coffee table at the hall infront, to the last room behide, next to kitchen. In fact, I counted his steps - 80 more steps at ONE GO...wow! he really did not hold on to anything all the way, of coz the steps were slow and small. But yesterday he was just taking like 20+ steps top only. My hubby was amazed too, his comment : "how come suddenly Jojo can walk already??!!"

I am not sure if other parents shared the same experience, but to us it was like suddenly our baby just grown up 'so fast' and begin wallking instead of the usual crawling he does. And we were still cannot believe it happaned over a night..

Looks like very soon we will start the chasing game...:p time to get fit, haha

A gift - pocket book

This was a wonderful gift from "parenthood" magazine to Jojo for being selected in the happy baby photo corner.

It was a handy pocket size photo book sponsored by Pixart (http://www.pixart.com/)

First you just need to download a software and then you can start uploading photo into the program and choose the setting layout. Lastly just send to pixart as a PO and waola...about 5 days later, the photo book is in my hand.

I have choosen Jojo's photo from his birth till 11 months old coz those are the latest pictures I have at that time. I received the notification in August but only start working on it in Sept. Anyway, it serves as a handy album on Jojo's first year which I can easily carry everywhere since the size is so portable.

I think this is the better gift compare to the usual diapers given away. I just love it :)

Peeking through mirror

Jojo having fun peeking through the mirror to look at people. Whenever his vision meet with yours, then he will start giggling away....

In fact, Jojo really loves looking in mirror. Not just he babbling to himself, he likes to wave at people through mirror.

When he cries, it's a sure & immediate 'cure' if you just bring him to a mirror...

But there was this old saying that you should not let a baby look at mirror or else the baby will not "speak" or have nightmare....hmm, wonder how true is it?

Catch you game

Jojo likes to walk around his playpen. Sometimes he plays hide and seek with us by peeping us at the side of the playpen. He will show his chicky face and walk away quickly laughing if we look at him and call him...

Everytime we say 'catch you catch you', Jojo will 'run away' surrounding his playpen. He even know to reverse direction when I try to 'chase' him :-)

And this is also Jojo's favorite game with his daddy, coz other than this daddy was not very good in other game with Jojo...haha :P
