More steps...

Latest count updated by my MIL....13 steps (small small steps la) !


I almost get to 'witness' it coz just as when I opened the room door and I saw him walking towards my mother. Aiya, too bad I only have a glimpse of his last 2 steps.


When he spotted me (just back from work), he decided to crawl instead...


never mind, never mind, I know you gonna be walking sooner or later. For now, mommy is okay to see you crawling around like a little seal (especially in your pajamas) and you look so adorable :)

Second hair cut

Mommy was surprised today when I was home to see your short short hair.

Apparently ah ma brought you out for a hair cut. It was a second visit to the salon for you since birth. Mommy didn't like the first proffesional hair cut you got the last time, so since then was quite relunctunt to bring you to salon. Instead I cut it myself.

Anyway, I think ah ma still find your hair too long and required a cut, especially you sweat so much the past 2 days coz you caught a cold.

Mommy still prefer your old hair style although it look "chang chang' in hokien :p. But you do look neat in the new one.

My first step

Jojo has been able to make his first 2-3 unsteady steps at around 13 months + ( 2 weeks ago)

Too bad I didn't have my camera around to capture the moments.

We were trying to encourage Jojo to do more of these steps by calling at him and using his favorites toys/books to get his attention. but most of the time, it back fired coz he got too excited and decided to crawl instead of 'walk'..

nevertheless, it still bring great excitement to us whenever Jojo make a step or two..hehe

By the way, just for the record he can now squat up and down himself without support.

Now when i look back, I really feel that life has passed by so fast. It seems that Jojo was just a little baby yesteday and now my baby has grown up to be a young toddler. He is even taking his first step already, and over the past one year, he has achieved so many milestones in his life....

Several days ago, I went to see a friend who has just gave birth to a baby girl. Looking at her cute angel, the memory of Jojo when he was a tiny little baby just flashed over in my head, and how I missed my Jojo baby whom once I cradled in my arm...(sign) time really flies....^"^...

Car rider ??

Ah ma taught Jojo to do this, get in and out his toy car.

Bananas !

Jojo loves banana :-)

When Jojo was really really small, everytime we called out the word 'banana', he will stared at you (almost without fail). So I always joke that he would grow up thinking his name is 'banana' instead of Jojo...Hmm, till now I can't figure why he was so into 'banana'

By the time he started solid food already..banana is no doubt one of his favorite item :)

Butt down!

After some ‘trainning’ mommy copy from the method by mommy WS and some ‘hard lesson’ of falling head down the bed twice, now Jojo learn how to go down from higher level by turning his butt down first RATHER than head down…..phew ~~

But sometimes he still FORGET, so we need to reinforce from time to time

I think he learn doing butt down just a few days before his birthday. (sign..) I can’t remember the exact date anymore, too bad. This is how bad my memory is and since I didn’t get to update Jojo’s blog for almost one month, so lot’s to catch up now.
