HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY !

My baby is turning ONE today :-)

Anyway we celebate on his eve. The beautiful morning starts with me decorating the living hall for Jojo's 1st party with lots of ballons and also I was putting up "Happy Birthday Joshua" from my own creation of 3D wordings on the wall. So it looks like picture below ..ta~da~~

Then about 12noon, we proceeded to the Jenny cake house to pick up the most beautiful cake ever :-) I just love it at first glance. In fact it turns out better than my expectation! The kids love it, the guest too, so definitely worth every penny..

Food arrived at 4pm sharp. All together there were 8 dieshes inclusive of one fruits plate. Looks more than I expected too, and the fact is we have almost half left at the end of the event. Next time I know how to weight between amount of foods and number of guests, ha!

By the way, ah ma also make some 'red eggs' for Jojo to mark the occassion. And Jojo get to eat egg yolk on his 1st birthday :)

I also have some little 'party bags' for the kids, which I packed the night before. When the guest arrived, I took them out to distribute to the little girl, and Jojo was so BB (busybody)..he also join in the fun of throwing all the bags around :-)

Luck thing we have a little helper there to help him clean up the scene, and kept remembering Jojo not to throw...how cute !

Cake Cutting ceremony :-)

1st birthday cake for Jojo and first time holding a 'plastic knife' to cut the cake. See how he posted for his cake blowing :-) so bossy punya baby.

Open presents !
Definitely the most exciting moments for all kids!

Jojo received a beautiful car from Ah Ma.....isn't he looks stylish in it :-p

anyway he just know how to press the hon and buttons, and still required 'full time' supevision from adult to operate the car. After all, the car is meant for kid > 3 years old..

p/s: the car was the most popular item among kids during the party

Towards end of the day, we have a 'present tearing' for Jojo with little helpers around him. It sure looks fun being them :)

2 days count down to ONE , wit Milestones Summary

As Jojo is going to be ONE soon, it just prompt me to think that maybe I should record down the milestones he had achieved over the past 11 months, even though some of them may have been blogged by me earlier. At least at one glance, I would be to see how he has become over his first year.

So I sat down and trying to recall back all the progress & development stages Jojo went through, and then I am so glad that I have created this blog for Jojo. Or else I wouldnt be able to remember the exact time and details of his milestones. And I definitely have to thank Joyce, she was the one first sharing her blog with me, which introduced blogging into my life and planted the first seed of interest into me. Thus today I am able to have a blog for Jojo and it helps to note down all the small, little, big and precious memories we had with Jojo until now.
