Jojo's favorite book

This one is on Jojo's top list of favorites. The book was given as his fullmonth gift by hubby's cousin. He can spent 5~10 min starring at it and sometimes even babbling by himself as if he was reading it.

Yummy chicken porridge

Jojo's first chicken porridge and he just love it!

He had taste chicken before. But, this is the first time we grind the chicken meat into the porridge. Jojo loves it and I enjoyed seeing him having a good meal :) thus the recording

First Hair cut in salon

Okay, at last I brought Jojo to a salon for hair cut last sunday. Jojo has been under my 'trimming' for 10 months long and his hair is really growing long and yet 'standing' up like bushes, so I thought it's time to try a profesional hair cut. "suei suei" [mean the worst in hokien] oso should be better than me, i thought...

unfortunately I didn't think the outcome was what I expected. Now Jojo's hair looks less, some spots look bald and the top part was not even at all. Personally I think Jojo looks more cute before the cut.....[ so i hope Jojo hair grow back fast fast..ha! ]

However the experience should be recorded for Jojo- not just that it was his first hair cut in salon. Jojo has been a good boy during the process. He was almost like 'zero movement' and stayed 'still' in my arm for the whole process which lasted almost 10 min i think. Could he be too 'scared' to move? ??

anyway I was surprised and impressed that he can be tat 'patient', even the hair dresser said the same thing; I thought this was 'interesting' for a baby... :)

2 days KL/Genting trip

Don't know where I get the idea of bringing Jojo to Genting and KL. Maybe i thought the cool weather & fresh air would be good for Jojo, and the initial place we wanna visit is Camera but at the end we cancel the idea. Anyway, this is how we ended going to Genting, but decided to stay in KL just in the case the weather was too cold for baby at Genting.

As I started packing for the trip, wow I realised that Jojo's stuffs were taking up 3/4 of the load! We have 2 bags, one of them was already full with all Jojo's food & toys etc....hmm, mommy just can't skip any of the items so I guess there is no travelling light with baby . Lucky thing we were driving so can just dump everything into the car

We left at around 9.30am in the morning, after Jojo had his breakfast + doing his 'business' :) so it was a good start. Mommy was not expecting any poo poo during the journey but unfortunately Jojo did some when we reached KL at 2pm. Luckily good timing, we got to change it after we checked in the hotel, and not in the car. (now that Jojo wouldnt stay still during diaper changing, I just can't imagine what a scene he would make in the car!!)

Jojo was really excited to see all the new places, we can see from his expression. He just make himself at home when we stepped in the room, and playing on the hotel bed. As it rained the morning half, so we decided to go One Utama on the first day instead of genting. Jojo seems to 'understand' that he was "kai kai-ing" and was in good mood the whole day, drank his milk and ate his meal properly as feeded. Of course he got to taste what daddy & mommy ate as well :)

We spent most of the evening in One Utama. There was sales going on but we didn't really have the time to shop with Jojo around. So obviously daddy and mommy didnt buy anything but we did manage to get you a pair of new shoes and your first little jean :) Daddy saw this nice Fisherprice walker and was so excited to see you on it but, at the end we decided not to buy as we don't think it was safe for you. You got a "Vtech Spin n Teach Apple" instead.

The second day we went off to Genting, and wow it was really cool & winding that day. So we hardly can stroll outside and instead spent most of the hours inside the building. Jojo had his first taste of ace-cream, but don't really seem to enjoy it yet. haha..

Before heading back to Penang, daddy met up with his friend in Midvalley. So mommy and Jojo just have to do some window shopping while daddy chatting with his friend. We had our dinner there and then start driving back around 8.30pm. After having your milk in the car, Jojo slept all the way back to Penang...good boy.

First sight of white cap

At last we see Jojo's first white cap just before he reach his 10 months. When we were back from Medan on 9th June, Sunday, grandma proudly informed us on Jojo's development :) what a good news!

Jojo has been drooling for quite some time (long enough till I can't remember when) and everyone in the house was looking for "THEM" since then ..haha. well, now that Jojo sprout his first bottom two middle teeth, he drools even more..OMG!

Good thing is that he didn't show much discomfort on the teething so far, and I hope this continues and he would be able to breeze through the process even in later stages..

I was trying to capture his 2 little shinning caps, atlast managed to shoot the picture after a week. As I was writting this only 2 weeks later, I saw his upper cap is coming out too but couldn't get a good shot.

Clap clap hand!

Another acts which Jojo amused us for the last few days were clap clap hand and waiving bye bye.

Haven't get the chance to video down his bye bye-act coz most of the time he will waive bye bye to others when i carried him, but refused to do so to me...so will have to post that next time.

Jojo was trying to clap hand but yet to learn to open his palm thus most of the time he was more like 'knocking hand' by holding his palm tight :)
