A friend of mommy, who is also a freelance photographer, was helping to capture these wonderful photos. Studio = home sweet home. Jojo was throwing a bit of tantrum that day, luckily he still able to capture numerous photo of Jojo laughing and smiling...

A happy chatterbox

This morning Jojo woke up happily and was babbling a lot.....

New toy

A new toy I bought for Jojo at Toy'r'us over the weekend....all the button once press, there'll be music on~~ the flower can spin by hand/pushing the button below, also with a ball which roll and some clips for Jojo to flip, all and all, look fun and interesting to me so I choosed it for Jojo. afterall, it was on 20% sale :)

hmm..why the face :) ???

actually anything can be a toy for our baby, it need not has to be bought from the shop..(thou' most of the time I was tempted to buy whenever I see one...)

Jojo equally enjoy or I would say more!! on another new toy he found at home - the biscuit tupperware! He even crawl faster just to get to it...see live on screen below :) This was recorded a week ago..which at that point of time, he just started tying to crawl..

Time to lower the bed...

Last friday morning caught Jojo stretching out from his playpen, trying to reach for his toys inside a box...

The first sight of this really give me a bit of shock, but I did acticipate for this thus not so panicky thou'...so after confirm he wouldn't 'fall out' from the bed, I quickly grap the camera and took down this evidence to show his daddy :P

Immediately after this, I lower his matress to the lowest level....phew~~

Before this, he was not so able to push himself up on the bed coz the matress was too soft. That's why I changed the matress on the night before. Luckily I didn't put Jojo to sleep on the pen as daddy was not at home that night, so I let Jojo sleep with me.....

Anyhow I still find that putting Jojo in/out from the lowest level of playpen is making my back aches..:( so I put some big pillows below the matress to make it higher...

An eventful Weekend

First, on saturday night
.. it was the first time for Jojo to attend a wedding dinner. Usually I prefer not to bring him outside at night so that it wouldn't interfere with his bedtime. Anyway there's always an exception for special occassion :) well..also coz ah ma went out 2

We reached Gurney hotel close to 8pm, again dear Jojo fall asleep on his way in the car (hmm, seems this is his patern lately..) so we put you asleep in your prem, and mommy quickly snap a few photos with friends before you woke up :p

Jojo was asleep for ard an hr time, and woke up having a 'culture shock!' looking at the noisy surrounding...poor thing! You cried loudly but luckily was not really disturbing to others coz covered by the loud music..after that we managed to calm u down. Then, mommy's friend came over to see you and carry you..everything was ok so far but you cried again coz being taken away to another table..well I guess is mummy's mistake for not being at your side....

Although you cries abit during the dinner, but settled down soon. Most of the time, daddy carried you around (good daddy for the nite, thumb up!) and you got to look around with curiousity. All and all, mummy get to enjoy the party (for awhile :P) and I think it was a good night event for us :D







Sunday
...was the highlite of the weekend. We went back to Ah Poh's (mummy's mum) house in the morning, so Jojo get to spent some good time with ah poh & uncle at home. Later in the afternoon, daddy dropped by his colleuges' picnic at seaside, where we had an enjoyable and memorable time of the day....

it was d first time..
1) Jojo feels the sea water - sorry no swimming in the wild world yet..
2) Jojo shows off your little 'mousy' to mummy - wow !
3) sit in a 'swing' - u lov it & L&L !

Grandma's Birthday

Last Saturday we all went out to celebrate Grandma's birthday at a Jerman's restaurant (sorry, forgot the name!) at Tanjung Bungah. It was a huge traffic jam on the way coz it was a saturday night...finally we arrived there around 8PM and Jojo was already sound asleep in my arm...poor thing, must be tired for the long drive, haha...

So I took a few snaps of photo during the dinner, unfortunately you are not in the family photo (coz u were asleep in your prem) and mommy forgot to take another snap after u woke up..


Ah Teaow also flew in from Hong Kong to celebrate the special day with Ah Ma. And it was the first time you meet your Ah Teaow face to face :)


Well..as now you regconise faces already, you kept starring at Ah Teaow whenever he was around and didn't want to smile to him at all.....poor Ah Teaow :)

Atlast I think on the 2nd day, you are now more willing to shine the day with your smile to AH Teaow..haha. Here's a snap of Ah Teaow carrying you in his arm, and he told mommy that it was his first time carrying a baby after 20+ over years..wow!!

Refuse to go down!

..this is what happen when we want to put him down to the floor. This little fellow refuses by bending his body backward and lifting his feet away from the floor....sigh**

Playing with his lips

Not sure if all baby does this or not?? Jojo start playing/sucking his lip I think about a week ago. His ah ma says that this is because Jojo could be teething thus his gum is icthing...

hmmm...is that true?

First step forward..

It has been a long wait since Jojo first lifting his butt till now.....at last!

I was told that for the past few days Jojo was able to creep a step or two "FORWARD"...he has been moving backward for sometime already... Being a working mum, again I missed his first step's moment, sign*...

I saw his act 2 days back and today he is making more progress :) kids learn fast don't they!

He now is able to do the comandor style forward, and even try to 'leap' forward sometime by lifting himself up, swinging and (don wan how to describe) 'drop' his body to the front...& woala..a big step to front!

Didn't manage to capture the act on video. will post it next time.

Finally, managed to catch some actions on tape

I found it !

Earlier I noted down Jojo's self invented toys, one of them was wet tissue box.

We usually put Jojo's stuffs all in a basket. Today he just shown us that he know how to search for his toy in the basket already..hmm.....

The whole basket flipped-over and he managed to get what he wants...(btw, I have cleaned up the scene before taking the pic below, tat's why you don't see a mess there..)

Self-invented Toys

7 most recent self-invented toys Jojo created for his own joy so far!

1. The edge of his play mat
- you see, we bought this A-Z play mat from Toy'r'us for Jojo, to prevent him from pain just in case he bang himself to the floor while lying on his tummy. Well as he spot the edge of the mat, so his favorite is to pull the edge of the mat/ pull out the alphebet from the mat and insert into his month. Everytime he do this, we will say 'NO' and stop him and then he will cry....but till now he still can't resist everytime he spots the edge...sign*

2. My hair - like to pull everytime he see it..hmm..(so far quite effective to distract him for ease of diaper changing ..so more reason for not cutting my hair, haha)

3. Wet tissue box - another toy to distract for diaper changing

4. Daddy's handphone - attracted by the light on the mobile

5. Aircond/TV/stereo remote - just a square box to me but fascinating to Jojo

6. The wood-top of our bed - every morning /night when he is on our bed, he will position himself towards the top of the bed and bang on the wood-board like a drum..

7. Last, but not least, all of US!
- (mommy, daddy, ah kong & ah ma) all are his biggest toys! - what he likes most :
(i) banging his little hands on our arm, tights etc..
(ii) 'squeeze' (cubit in Malay) us with his 5 little fingers...ouchhHH..i tell you it can be so painfull sometimes... & If you 'ouchh~~' then he will look at you/laugh and do it again..

No more eating on laps

Finally I bought a high chair for Jojo.

Having sitting on my and ah ma's laps for sometime for his meals, Jojo officially sit in his high chair for a proper meal :)

I haven't bought the chair earlier coz knowing that one of my colleugue is going US soon, thus was asking him to buy me the Acquarium/Forest FisherPrice Highchair which come with musical toys. Tot it would fun for Jojo...but at the end he can't find them in the places he went. Anyway, I still manage to get this one below for Jojo, thou' is without the mentioned toys but still is as good.
