Picnic

After the shopping in the morning, we drop by to daddy's friends' picnic at the seaside. This is the first time Jojo goes to a beach :) so I can't wait and quickly snap a photo with him.

During the picnic, a lady came over and talk to Jojo...

I read that 5 months old baby will start to recognise stranger and may cry if being approach by one...hmmm, guess that's not true on my baby (especially if the stranger is a lady..ahaha..)

Chinese New Year Shopping

With the CNY approaching, we r taking the oppurtunity to bring Jojo out to do some shopping. We bought a few new clothes for Jojo, and also the 1st pair of baby shoes. Daddy was thinking of buying a nice pair of sport shoes for him, like baby addidas..but aiya that is wasting money saja la coz baby grows so fast. So we end up buying the baby pooh's shoes, cost only rm16, but really cute and nice...:) luv it!

And we spotted a golden 'chinese suit' for 1 yr's old at Gurney plaza, but apparently Joshua can fit in so we got him also the so call 'emperor's suit' by daddy..haha..

Other than these, we also bought him 2 monyet suit, 2 hats & a short pant. That's about it for this trip...

Buffet Lunch at E&O hotel

Jojo was having a mild flu and cough for the past few weeks....sometime ok, sometime sick again, so we have not been bringing him out for awhile...

At last he is much better now, and so we decided to bring him out for a buffet lunch at E&O hotel. He was really really happy, although most of the time he was sitting in his prem and look at us eating..ahaha....

During the way home, he was so tired and just fall asleep in my arm...so sweet (kisses kisses..)

Attempts to creep

First crawl?? nope, but definitely trying to creep....just look at how Joshua raise up his butt :) as high as possible. According to his grandma, this is how baby learn to creep..

well, looks like very soon he will...

First Blog..hehe

This is the first time I am creating a blog. Took me a few tries to find out how to navigate this tool..

I get to know about blogger from one of the mommy I met in my company, Joyce. Wow, I was really impressed with what she did for her baby boy. I really enjoyed reading her baby, Ethan's blog. Later, I saw that another friend was doing the same thing for her baby...well so I kinda feel that I should start doing it for my baby too....

The reason I create this blog is to capture all the growing moments and sweet memories I have with Jojo :) So this is how I get into this..hehe.

To be honest, I really don't know how to start, plus I am not a good story teller :p but I sure will try my best...

Since I started this late, Jojo is now 5 months old. So anything you see prior to this date was actually backdated blogs..ahaha...

First Toy from Mommy

The first toy I bought for Jojo was a Baby Gym during his month 2. The reason I choose this toy is to help him on his eye and hand co-ordination. But back then, when he was 2 months old, he did not really know how to 'play'. Haha, but now he can pull, hit, talk & scream to the animals hanging above him. You can really hear him doing the 'ah ah', or 'bo bo' sounds, and sometimes even a sharp ' AHHH..'. Although usually his play time will not be more than 10mins on the gym, still I think so far it is the most 'worth-it' toy I bought for him. It is really great seeing him having fun with it :D

Hey! I just discover my feet ....yipee..

Just 2 days before 5 months, we find that Jojo reach another milestones - as now he can touch his feet with his hand, and start pulling both feets towards his mouth...(at the same time...his tongue is coming out....ready to lick lorrrr..haha..)

Recently Jojo demostrated another new trick...
Here's our conversation, when I was home back from office

Me : Hi Jojo, how r u today?
Jojo : arrrh...(show tougue)
Me : what did you do...
Jojo : (show tougue again)
Me : Tell mum mum what did u do la..
Jojo : (silence........then show tougue..show tougue..)
Me : oh like tat ah..so nice hor..

Potty Time :)

We really enjoy the potty time we had with our litte Jojo...

wondering why??

First, coz he will give us his 'signal' every time he wanna 'do business'..that is he will make firm sound of 'urh, urh..urhhh..' and the face become very serious..so u know is time liao..haha. You would be surprise that he started giving this type of signal since he is in his 1st month...amazing rite :p

By the time he reached full month, then the grandma trained him to sit on potty every time he make the urh urhh~~ sounds...

gee..just look at the serious face...

When he reached 4 months old, potty time became 'playing time'..coz he is now so 'hong sim' , as we speak in hokien.
So he will take his sweet time..babbling, giggling and swinging his legs ..until he is 'happy' then he start doing his business..(aiyo baby..mummy's leg is so 'suei' liao coz supporting your back la..come on come on..faster finish your business lor, dear :P )
